Getting Started

What is EventWand?

EventWand is a platform that connects people planning events with local service vendors. You can browse vendors, compare packages, book services, and manage everything in one place.

Is the app available in Arabic?

Yes. EventWand supports both English and Arabic. You can switch languages from your profile settings at any time.

Do I need an account to browse vendors?

No. You can explore vendors and view their profiles without signing in. An account is only required to make a booking.


Bookings

How do I book a vendor?

Browse vendors in the Explore tab, open a vendor's profile, select a package, fill in your event details (date, event type, location, and guest count), and submit your booking request.

What happens after I send a booking request?

Your booking starts as Pending. The vendor will review your request and either confirm it or propose changes. You will receive a notification as soon as there is an update.

Can I message the vendor after booking?

Yes. Once a booking is created you can exchange messages with the vendor directly from the booking detail screen.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. You can cancel a booking from the booking detail screen. Cancellation terms may vary by vendor.

Can I request a different event date after booking?

Yes. You can request a date change from inside the booking and the vendor will be notified to review the new date.

Can I leave a review after my event?

Yes. After a confirmed booking you can leave a rating and a written review for the vendor. Each booking can only be reviewed once.


Vendors

How do I list my business on EventWand?

Sign up and select the Vendor role. Complete your profile by adding your business name, category, photos, packages, working hours, and the areas you serve.

How do I manage my packages?

Go to My Business → Packages in your vendor dashboard. You can add, edit, or deactivate packages and set price ranges for each.

How do I set my availability?

Under My Business → Availability you can set your working hours for each day of the week. Customers will see this when booking.

How do incoming booking requests work?

New booking requests appear in your Requests tab. You can confirm, decline, or propose changes such as a new event date. Messaging is available on every booking.


Account & Profile

How do I create an account?

Tap Sign Up on the welcome screen, enter your name, phone number, and password, then verify your phone with the OTP sent to you.

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen tap Forgot password? and follow the steps to reset it using your registered phone number.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your personal data from EventWand. See our account deletion page for full details.
