Delete My Account

You can request the deletion of your EventWand account and all associated personal data at any time. We will process your request within 30 days.

How to request deletion

Send an email from the address associated with your EventWand account to:

contact@eventwand.com

Use the subject line Account Deletion Request and include the email address registered to your account. You can also tap the button above — it pre-fills the email for you.

Alternatively, you can delete your account directly from within the EventWand app: go to Settings → Delete my account.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile (name, email, phone number, profile picture, date of birth)
• Your account credentials and authentication tokens
• Your booking history and any pending booking requests
• Your in-app chat messages
• Your device tokens and notification preferences
• Any vendor business profile, gallery photos, and listings (vendor accounts)

What may be retained

Some data may be kept for a limited period after deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Published reviews — may be anonymised and retained to preserve the integrity of the review system
• Transaction records — kept for up to 5 years as required for legal and financial compliance
• Support correspondence — kept for up to 3 years after resolution
• Fraud and abuse logs — kept where necessary to protect the safety of other users

All retained data is protected under our Privacy Policy and deleted as soon as retention is no longer required.

After your request

You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted. If you do not receive confirmation within 30 days, contact us again at contact@eventwand.com.
